Community Conversation and Collaboration

What We Do

Our Initiatives

Circumstances vary from individual to individual, and family to family. Multiple factors can cause an individual to become displaced from their home or fall short in being able to provide the necessities that are needed to get from day to day. CCCI aims to help fill those voids by providing GED preparation, peer mediation and conflict resolution, job readiness, reentry programs, parenting programs, sports, trades, food pantry and bank, health and medical, mental health and shelter to those in the NY communities who need assistance.

Food Supply & Healthy Eating Programs

We organize and distribute weekly food pantry that consist of produce boxes, non-perishable items, pre-pared meals cooked by local chiefs that participate in the World’s Kitchen program. We also distribute Healthy Bucks that can be used at local Farmers Markets. We have also partnered with another program called “ Hunger Free NYC” that brings information to individuals who brings help to New Yorkers to access food benefits programs, like the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Women, Infants, and Children) programs.

Senior Services

We provide services and programs that improve the well being of our seniors. We make sure to provide information to our seniors that instructs with health and wellness. We are dedicated to helping seniors enjoy healthier, safer, more productive and dignified lives in their homes and communities and to help them avoid the need for premature institutionalization. We make sure that we take door to door food services to them, if they need any assistance with travel, day to day activities, or anything we make sure to be very present.

Youth Programs

We have adapted youth Activities that are generally oriented towards youth development through recreation, social life, prevention, intervention, and education. During youth programs participants have the opportunity to get involved in sports, community service, youth activism, youth service, and outdoor education. We look forward to partnering with DYCD, Summer Youth Employment Program, and Cornerstone Programs.

Adult Services

Our Adult Services and programs are widely ranging in all areas. We offer Adult Job Readiness Programs, GED Programs, Parenting Programs, Trade Programs, volunteer opportunities, support groups for both men and woman individually. We also offer referral programs for displaced families, substance abuse, domestic violence, HIV patience, LGBT services, Re-Entry and Formally Incarcerated, Legal Services, Human Rights, Single Parents, and many more. We strive to go above and beyond to help those who are in need of any service.

All our programs are inclusive to and for everyone no matter the the gender, ethnicity or age. We honor the families we serve by inviting them to contribute to the process. We are grateful to be invited into the communities we serve and work side-by-side with local leaders offering transformative solutions that are both sustainable and carved out at the hands of the community itself.
